Manhattan Beach Real Estate experienced an absolutely fabulous year in 2014!
As you’ll see on the chart below, our average home prices rose by a minimum of 18% since 2013 (the Tree Section), and a whopping maximum of 55% in the Hill Section.
All combined, a total of $973 Million worth of property changed hands throughout the year citywide for a total of 419 sales.
The most expensive property, not surprisingly, was in the Hill section at $15,750,000; while the most sales occurred in the Tree section with a total of 117 transactions. The average Days on Market for the city was an impressive 45 days — since many times this time also includes the escrow period, that means that homes in Manhattan Beach are going into escrow at a very fast clip!
