Grand View is a Green Ribbon School, is known for a great volunteer program and hosts many family activities throughout the year. The average enrollment of the school is 450. There are a total of 30 teachers and staff members. The school has 900+ API score and has been ranked 10 out of 10 in the state as well. The ‘Home of the Gators’ is located in the north end of the Sand Section at 455 24th Street.

The Gator Afterschool Program (GAP) includes the students in numerous activities and classes, usually after the primary school schedule is over. K-5 grades students can be participating in these classes during any or all of the three sessions; spring, fall and winter. The program is designed in collaboration with the MBX Foundation. Registrations are open in January, April and September. Most of the activities include academic enrichment programs, physical education programs and athletic events to help in the overall development of the child.
The Run Club organizes Run Day before school every month. The students are free to participate in this activity and bring their friends and parents along . This club encourages physical activities and exercise. The winners of this event are given prizes so students stay motivated.
